Soil In The Synth

You may recognize the name Soil in The Synth from his exclusive remixes of the classics Yazoo’s -’Nobody’s Diary’ and Erasure’s ‘‘Ship Of Fools’‘ for Mute Records in 2008 and 2009 consecutively.

With his predaliction for roughing up 80’s classics producer and remixer Soil In The Synth (SITS) released his debut EP of covers in February 2009 with Blackwing Records that featured both Ultravox’s ‘Dancing With Tears in My Eyes’ and Duran Duran’s ‘Save A Prayer’ with feature vocals from label mate Melody Klyman and Manny Sharrad of Australian electronic act Infusion.

SITS has also provided a remixes for Blackwing signings GSpider & Farah for the track Bruise Color Blue on their debut E.P. and most recently he’s been busy remixing the likes of Everything Everything (’Photoshop Handsome’) and James Yuill (’First In Line’)


Stay tuned for E.P. 1  in a series of original E.P.’s for Blackwing and a new single entitled ‘Stabalize’ featuring the brilliant and quirky vocals of french chanteuse Clytem Scanning due for release Spring 2011.
