GSpider & Farah

GSpider & Farah

This new ship set sail one late summer night, deep in the heart of L.A’s China Town.
GSpider received a call from Farah while she was in the midst of a west coast tour. The two chatted about the 12″ single she had just released and promised to deliver to him in subsequent months. The delivery date had arrived. Farah was playing Los Angeles. As Asian accents decorated the atmosphere, Persian love and death songs saturated with down disco filled the slithering smog machine air. An intoxicated sultry dance was shared between the two onstage and a piece of vinyl traded hands backstage. So began the beauty and pain of GSpider and Farah.
GSpider (aka Garey Snider), a Los Angeles CA resident has toured and shared stages far and wide for more than a decade with some of the most influential, sexy and shocking alternative artists to date. From Siouxsie, Sisters of Mercy, GG Allen, Christian Death, Front 242, Thrill Kill Cult, Daft Punk, Justice and Fugazi, to name a few. Originally a drummer since the age of 5, GSpider now spends more time producing, composing and performing music in Indie/Electro/Dance projects, movies, trailers and television.
Farah Holly Nemat calls Dallas, TX home, that is when she’s not touring and making patrons tears turn into blood with her Persian tongue-a true gem lyricist and spoken word artist. Farah also has various solo releases out that you will find especially pleasing to the eyes and ears. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming shows from GSpider & Farah.

The Bruise Color Blue 4 track EP featuring a Soil In The Synth remix is released Jan 12 2009.
