Repeater

Repeater

They may be called REPEATER, but the Long Beach, California band replicates no other. Comprised of five members, their unique sound is a combination of heartfelt vocals, art rock guitars, pounding drums and lush keyboards.

Signed to Blackwing records for the UK and Europe ‘Iron Flowers’ highlights the best these boys have to offer.A fusion of the late 80’s post-punk sounds of Joy Division and modern day indie overtones of The Editors and Interpol, their music is performed with angst and eloquence intertwined.
Repeater is an accomplished live band having played hundreds of shows, including SXSW and a host of reputable California venues (Spaceland, Troubadour,The Glasshouse, The Echo, The Roxy and more).
Their  initial goal was to achieve a unique, modern rock sound which combined pieces of all the best influences from the 1980s and 1990s.The band quickly developed a powerful sound based on a driving rhythm section supporting simple melodic hooks. Now with a solid cast and a musical identity carved from experience they are releasing their debut 11-track LP, Iron Flowers.
The Iron Flowers LP was recorded at the Bomb Shelter in Los Angeles, CA. by producer CHRISTOPHER FUDURICH of NADA SURF, JIMMY EAT WORLD
and SIMPLE MINDS fame. Recentlly ROSS ROBINSON producer for KORN,SLIPKNOT and LIMP BIZKIT has fallen for the boys
and taken them under his wing to start production on album number two.
